Notes for Performers/Technicians

When making theatre, Hoipolloi works with a small pool of performers and technicians on a regular basis. Much of our work is developed with these people that we know well and have worked with over a number of years. We usually decide who we want to work with well in advance of putting a show together, as our work develops out of the personal input to the process of these people. As such, we rarely cast new performers.

However if you would like to be sent updates about our work and opportunities to attend workshops or masterclasses, please sign up to our free mailing list using the link on the right.

Work Experience

We would be happy to hear from students who would like to undertake a placement that would form part of course. Please note that as we’re a small company, our ability to accept requests can vary and we are unable to accept requests for placements that would last less than one month or for anyone aged under 18.

If you’re interested, have a look through the website (and perhaps Hugh’s as well) to learn more about what we do. You can contact us here.

Support our work

We rely on the generosity of others to help us make people happier through imagination and laughter. Could you play your part and make a donation?
